About CauthenCconsulting

My life goal is to invest in people wherever I am able. I believe working with people in a coaching, training, or speaking/presenting environment to be a privilege and an honor. I enjoy people and the opportunity to help them gain awareness and learn how to cultivate relationships at a new level. I believe this to happen through personal investment as well as consistent encouragement of one’s personal development along with the ability to do their job at a greater level of awareness; because self-awareness leads to greater understanding of identity, in family, in community, in the workplace, and purposed identity in Christ, including one’s position in Christ and individual responsibility within their world.

I am able to present topics in a transferable way that presents a challenge of awareness for all who are listening and participating. Participation in life is key. I will get you to think in a new way, challenge what you have known to be true, not to disprove it but improve on yourself!

I am a resident of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, where I currently reside with my husband Les, and puppy dogs, Sir Winston and Miss Bella. I am the eldest of five and a fourth generation farm girl from rural Iowa, where my family still resides and farms. My experience in leadership is well grounded from agricultural, academic, and professional experiences, along with formal education. I moved to Texas in 1997 to attend Dallas Theological Seminary, in Dallas, Texas, where I graduated in 1999 with a master’s degree in Christian Education, Educational Leadership. In July 2004, I moved to the Texas Hill Country where I met Les that September, enrolled in Regent University May 2006, engaged August 2006, and got married in November 2007. I finished with my doctoral program August 2009, in Strategic Leadership from the School of Business & Leadership at Regent University, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

I enjoy being outside, creating new things from old treasures, and developing innovative and fresh ideas to address relentless problems. I live a life of education and adventure, viewing both as a treasure to be obtained. I believe life to be about the journey, and is always seeking how to involve as many people as possible in my ventures. I am in the process of development of a specialized theological leadership-training facility and program for college-age and college-bound students.
